Dear Great Grandpa Bourne,

           I so wish I would've been able to get to know you while you were still alive! Mom has talked about you all the time! Especially where you'd come down and visit and take my mom and siblings out on activities or bring things from Canada! How you loved to serve other people! I can't wait to meet you in the next life! :D

I want to know: A story from your childhood.

Growing up I walked to school, I would pick up a friend of mine to go. I was usually early, so I would end up waiting just a little bit for him to be ready to go! We would walk different routes to school! It was really fun to figure out which way was the shortest way(where every way we went was the same distance and took the same amount of time!) I just know that we did a different route almost everyday. Some did feel like they took forever and others felt like it didn't take long at all! Walks to school consisted of teasing, arguing, and everywhere in between! there were a few times that our arguments got so bad that we wouldn't walk together  for a couple days then, we'd be over it and forgive each other for the funny little thing we argued over and we'd make up and be friends again!  There were a lot of good times! :D
