Elder Collin Robinson in the MTC

Well, Collin is now set apart and entered the MTC September 26, 2012. Yes, a week! It's actually gone by so fast for me cause, of work and other things that have been going on. Elder Robinson sent us his first letter in the MTC last Friday, and it was funny! He mentioned that he was there not even a day and everybody was warning him of the Chocolate milk and Orange Juice(Shorty was even warning him about them) someone in his district named Elder Call is a distant relative namely related to Anson Bowen Call. Which is our great great grandfather. He was really good friends with Joseph Smith. Moved to the west with Brigham Young, and when Polygamy became illegal, the Call family moved down to Mexico. His companion(not sure of his name, I couldn't read his name for the life of me! :P) is senior companion and District leader and is in the field as of this week I believe.

Anyways here's some pictures at the temple that my mom took just before we dropped him off. We went to Brick Oven for Lunch with my Grandpa and Grandma Bourne. It was a lot of fun! :D

As we were walking to the temple, this guy asks my brother. "Hey! Where are you going?" Collin: "To the temple." Everyone: " No, on your mission." Collin: "Oh! Spokane Washington."

My Brother and I since I didn't make it to his graduation.

Collin's Mission call!

June 2012

Elder Collin Robinson received his mission call to Spokane, Washington Mission he leaves September 26, 2012. I can't believe it is a week away! I heard he did a wonderful farewell talk September 9, 2012 even though I missed it, it was good to hear how he did and that he continues to get compliments on his talk everyday since or at least every week. It will be interesting to see his progress and growth over the next 2 years. His birthday was yesterday and is now officially 19 years old. I'm so happy and proud that he made the decision on his own to go on a mission, not just because his parents, peers, and other family. That is definitely a good thing.

As we were spending the day together as brother and sister, he was saying that he was getting trunky to go out and do what the Lord has in store for him to do his work. He said he wasn't ready to go but he was ready to get going. I'd say that's a good answer if anybody were to ask him if he's ready for the mission.

The small world of this that is really fun is that Shorty(my fiance) went to the same mission, and the new mission president was his past bishop growing up. He's a very kind man, always smiling and a great talent in Photography! I Look forward to hear from Collin his experiences throughout his mission!

Good Luck Collin on your mission! I Love and will miss you!

I'll see if I can make the time to write a few feelings when he leaves to the MTC.

Idaho and Brandon's Wedding

This past weekend Jordan and I went up to Idaho with my family to see a close family friend of my family get married to his beautiful wife. It was very interesting and different. Which there is nothing wrong with that at all. They got married in a four square Christian Church in I.F. It was very beautiful. Jordan and I were whispering to each other because of what we were feeling. We felt the definite urge and motivation to keep ourselves focused toward getting married in the temple(not that we weren't thinking of going to the temple), it was just a more motivation to fight to go towards that.

Jordan and I are deciding to take it slow so for those of you that marked your calenders for August 4th you can take that off now. :) Jordan and I are being smart in getting to know each other and not going to rush into things. Seeing as marriage is a huge decision, it's not something to fool around with.

Anyways, back to this past weekend. Friday, I took him on a walk around my neighborhood. And really enjoyed it and it was a good work out too! We walked a good 2 miles, I probably would have gone longer too! haha! I love to walk! :) We were able to visit a family of a friend that I went to school with growing up! It was crazy! But very much enjoyable!

Saturday, we traveled up to Idaho and stayed at my Aunt Karen's and Uncle Kent's house. I got to meet my cousin Olivia and her younger brother Graeme(Graham) for the first time! And got to know the cute little kids! Olivia is such a teeny bopper it's crazy! She's 2 and a half and still wears 18 month clothing! And so much fun! I went straight to Graeme and played with him and had so much fun! We went to Brandon's Wedding which was beautiful. :) I loved the colors! I'm going to use Dark Sage Green, Egg Plant Purple(or Plum), and Brown. Just sayin'! haha! Saturday night, Jordan and I played Battle Ship, and played best 2 out of 3. He beat me 1st, then I beat him the next 2 times! The last time, he almost beat me, but I figured out his method. and once he hit all my ships(one hit each mind you). I found his ships and sunk them before he had the chance to sink my ships he hit! It was so hilarious! Then, My cousin Kylie and her husband Gearen surprised them earlier this weekend and got to visit with them, Aunt Karen and Uncle Kent, as well as my parents. The conversations we had were so funny! I don't think I have laughed so hard in my life! It's awesome and I love my Family! And getting to know my cousin's husband was so much fun! I know things are going to get really fun from both sides of our family! My cousin said that I looked "Handsomly Orangey!" I guess that's a very good impression! haha! And her way of the term "Peachy."

I look forward to so many adventures that most of those I don't know of yet! But, I look forward to it definitely!

Yesterday, when we got home, we played a game with Amanda and Jameson, and had even more laughs. We were enjoying each other's company, and simply having fun! I Love it!

I have never felt like this though! I feel at peace, and I feel extremely loved! Do you have any idea how much more special you feel when you are called Beautiful no matter how inadequate you feel every single day? I don't think I'll ever get tired of it! In fact I'm honestly still getting used to it! After years of having a low self esteem, and a few years to actually believe for myself that I am Beautiful! Some days of course are harder than others, but on some of the hard days, I try to look in the mirror to tell myself that "I'm Beautiful" at least 10 times. And eventually, I feel beautiful, although sometimes I feel it doesn't work...

But, I know I'm beautiful! He does so much, and I do the same, although sometimes. I'm just simply talking and somehow I say the right thing? He does the same thing and I Love him for that. But there are loads of many different reasons why I Love my Jordan. He makes it very easy to laugh like crazy and makes life fun! His smile if full of teasing, fun and humor. Also very sweet, kind, and selfless. He loves to help others, and is very steadfast in Christ. He loves his family very much and is very close to them. And most of all I Love him for who he is! Don't you love the feeling that no matter the flaws a person has, you'll always love them no matter what? Yeppers! that's how I feel about him! I'll always fight for that love even though, I know I don't have to do much. I know I'll always have to prove myself to show my love towards him all the time!

I Love you Jordan "Shorty" James Byrd!!! <3

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
"So how can you see what your life is worth
Or where your value lies?
You can never see through the eyes of man
You must look at your life

Look at your life through heavens eyes

A lake of gold in the desert sand
Is less than a cool fresh spring
And to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy
Is greater than the richest king
If a man lose everything he owns
Has he truly lost his worth?
Or is it the beginning
Of a new and brighter birth?

So how do you measure the worth of a man
In wealth or strength or size?
In how much he gained or how much he gave?
The answer will come
The answer will come to him who tries
To look at his life through heavens eyes

And thats why we share all we have with you
Though theres little to be found
When all youve got is nothing
There's a lot to go around

No life can escape being blown about
By the winds of change and chance
And though you never know all the steps
You must learn to join the dance

So how do you judge what a man is worth
By what he builds or buys?
You can never see with your eyes on earth
Look through heavens eyes

Look at your life through heaven's eyes"

(Through Heaven's Eyes *These are just my favorite parts of the song*)
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising

May angels lead you in.Hear you me my friends. On sleepless roads the sleepless go.May angels lead you in.
