Collin's Eagle Court of Honor! :D

Collin had his Court of Honor and I got to take pictures during the whole thing! :D hehehe! I wish I had a better camera though! :D Cause mine's getting old and it's getting slow! But I Like my Camera! It's amazing! :D Anyways, it was amazing of what turn out we had considering how bad the weather was yesterday! It was crazy! Brother Gifford, Brother Mangum, Brother Peterson and family, Bishop Rupp, Uncle Kim and Kids, My Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came down from Idaho for this, My Great Grandma Wendel was there as well! Brother and Sister Herbert made it as well! The interesting part was the fact that it was dangerous to drive just a half a block to the church! My parents almost got T-boned and we live pretty much across the street from the church! Crazy! A truck with a Trailer came out of no where(I was at home so this is from my parents and Brother's perspective...)with no lights on. and was pretty close to our family van!


Anyways, Collins Court of Honor went very well and it was awesome! :D I'll put up pictures as well as I have pictures posted on facebook! :D

Snow Play!!! :D

Yesterday, Utah got some good snow! Like not kidding good snow for a snowball fight and building snowman! Heck Yes! I always get excited for snow right before Christmas! I Just Love it! After New Years, I want it to go away! :P It just gets old, and I get ready for spring! Anyways! I was really craving to play in it like do snow angels, have a snowball fight, and build a Snowman! So I contacted a couple friends and we met at my house and went to a park close to my house! People that were there were... Chad Erickson, Me, Amanda Fox, Larry Fullenwider, and Ruel St. Clair! Oh it was so much fun! When we arrived to the park, Amanda and I ran into the the field and made snow angels, and then Larry and Chad came and tackled us! And started the Snowball fight! Oh that was fun! I didn't take pictures of that cause I didn't want my camera to get wet and damaged... :P LOL But when we started making the Snowman, I got the camera out! :D hehehe! :D

Twiterpated again!

I'm so twiterpated right now! I'm getting anxious as time gets closer! My Very Good Friend Chad Erickson(not president Erickson in my Stake presidency trust me! I'm smarter than that!) is coming into Utah tonight from South Carolina and I'm going crazy that the only thing that's keeping me busy today is the computer! I don't have any desire to do anything else... although I wouldn't mind hanging out with some friends to keep my mind busy cause I found out that his flight won't come in till midnight! :( Instead of 10 or 10:30! I had a late night last night and I'm not anywhere close to being a night owl! I'm more of a morning person! Always have been! There are times where I can pull an all nighter but I'm totally out of it till after 2 or three in the morning then I'm wide awake... But I can do that every once in a while... doing that consecutively is very tiring! So I won't be able to see him when he comes home! :( But I'll see him in the morning! It's just a matter of when I'll see him! I so hope he got on an earlier flight... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Chad Erickson has been a friend of mine since like 1st Grade and have had a crush on him since! We've been best friends since then as well as his Cousin Travis Brady! They've been in my life through thick and thin! Travis is more of a Brother kind of Best Friend... We both know that it won't go anymore than that! We know each other way to well that it wouldn't work out between us! We argue and get along like Brother and Sister, that if we were to get married we'd go to our wits end and it wouldn't be good at all! :( Chad, in some cases he's been the one I'd go to first to vent or say I've done something bad... or whatever it maybe... Chad has always been my Shoulder! Then I'd go to Trav when I've had my head cleared up! haha! Then there's Travis' Cousin(on his Dad's Side) Aaron Powell that I've also had a crush on! But my relationship is different from Trav's and mine relationship... we're really good friends that it also wouldn't go more than that... I would literally drive Aaron Nuts just because of my personality and other traits! He's just a good friend and someone that's nice to have a good converstaion with! :D And it's just fun! Those 3 guys are basically the only guys I trust and always have trusted since I've met them! Now It's harder for anybody to gain my trust just because of experiences that I've had both genders have broken that trust... and sometimes It's tough to believe someone that says "Oh don't worry! You can trust me." I would literally have to see a specific look in their eyes, and their tone of voice to do it... I think it just depends on the situation... I can't just trust anybody I literally have to be friends with them and actually know them! And sadly there are very few people out there that I trust! I don't let people in my bubble or box very easy! I'm just used to people that have been in my box, and always have been there even before I built the wall! Sometimes I miss being a kid where I was able to trust everybody that I knew was in my life and it was grand! After an experience I had over 12 years ago... All of that innocence and Childhood was gone! And I miss it! But I'm forever grateful for the experiences I've gone through! I wouldn't be the person I am today with out them! I'm grateful for the friendships I do have and had in my life!

Through Heaven's Eyes

Today, I was thinking of what to blog about, and it couldn't exactly come to my mind till just a couple minutes ago. And I can't exactly put in anyway that I can say it bluntly. Thanksgiving was a couple days ago, not only that I'm thankful to be alive and breathing and have a Loving Family and friends in my life to keep me going! This year has been an uplifting year! Because about half of this year I was out of the house learning a lot! I had friends in my ward that called on me to check on how I was doing, and if I needed anything. And they'd call when I was feeling a little homesick. As well as they'd invite me to go out and do things and just have fun! :D

I'm Grateful for Larry! He is a really good friend of mine that I've been able to get to know while I dated Deitrick! And We're just really good friends, He has helped me so much lately trying to keep me happy and distracted from my thoughts of "Depression" with getting over Deitrick and getting myself to move on in my life! I've extremely happy for Rainbow now that he has a Girlfriend of his own! It's so cute to see how Twitterpated he is! And I happen to be really good friends with his Girlfriend as of quite recently. I met her at Ward Prayer on my Younger Sister's Birthday, Her Name is Amanda Fox! I love her to Death! She is so sweet! And always texts me here to see how my day was! As well as we spend a lot of Girl time together(to Larry's dismay...;) jk). But seriously! I Love those two! Just had to put it out there! :D

Lately I've had a couple people tell of how grateful they are for me! For Listening to them or simply just giving them a smile. A couple weeks ago, I had a lady come into my work and I guess I went to school with a couple of her sons with her oldest in my Graduating class. One day she came in and she told me to keep her sons and her daughter in my prayers because they were struggling a little bit. Also I told her to have hope and she started crying. She said, "My Husband and I are sealed, but he didn't have my kids get baptised." And she also said that she just recently started getting herself back to church. I told her that I was struggling a little bit(won't talk about my struggles yet...)and she told me that she would put my name in the Temple Prayer roll.

A few days later she came through the Drive thru at my work. And she asked if I remembered her(Honestly How could I forget someone that just recently got personal with me the other day... I haven't really had her off my mind since then!), I said yes, she said that she kept her word and put my name in the prayer roll! Oh my gosh I felt so touched! And she also mentioned that it was her first time doing so! Talk about an amazing Lady she is! I hardly knew her sons in School, but knew of them because they worked with the the "LTV"(Lehi Television) at my high school. And she told me that her sons think Highly of me. After she said that I was I guess you can say shocked? I thought How can I make an impact in someone's life if I hardly know them at all? And I thought, Heavenly Father knows me the best out of everybody that knows me, and he has placed people in my life, and he's placed me into other people's life to impact their life in such a way that it may be possitive or Negative and visa versa.

I thought of this Song that's from the Movie "Prince of Egypt" If you haven't seen this movie yet let me explain the part of the movie this song comes from. It's based on the Old Testament Story of Exodus and it's where Moses runs away after "Commiting a Murder" and finds himself in a Dessert with a small tribe of people in Meridia and the Priest of Midian is Jethero, He has I think about 5 Daughters and is Invited to this dinner after Moses helping four of Jethero's Daughters with some Theives. And Right before they start eating Jethero is Thanking everyone that came and Welcoming Moses saying "And we shall also give thanks to this Brave young Man, of Whom we Honor here tonight." Moses, says that "I don't deserve anything not even a thanks. I'm not worth anything"(or something to that extent in the Movie, but you get my point).

Hearing this song always makes me feel so happy because I Love the voice that's singing it is amazing! As well as the line that says "Look at your life through Heaven's eyes" Lifts me up like crazy! I am of Great Worth, A Daughter of our Heavenly Father! And Nobody can bring that down! I'm so grateful for this life, and so grateful for the Atonement! What the heck would I do with out it? Amazing Day at work!

Monday, I went to work expecting it be kinda busy, and drag a little. But it didn't end out that way one bit! When we first opened up, a sweet lady came in to get her prescription. And I asked for her ID because it was a controlled. And I saw that it was expired, and she showed me her new temporary license. As she was putting away her expired license she asked herself if she wanted to throw it away or not. She immediately said "No, this has a picture of my long hair!" And I looked at it and her hair in the picture was just past her chin not quite to her shoulders. And we just talked about hair and how fun it is to style long hair! And that she wants to grow it out so that she can do what her daughter does.

Now here is what made my day amazing! This sweet lady is 39, and has short hair like short, but she pulled it off! She was sharing that 6 months ago, she was 38 at the time, and she had a pretty bad stroke. Where She had to have brain Surgery. Her hair was shaved off. The Doctors thought she wasn't going to make it, and if she were to wake up at all she would in bed the rest of her life in a vegetative state. But, that wasn't what happened. With how young she is she's been able to heal from the stroke very well so far. When she woke up, she had no idea what happened. She remembered having the stroke, with a bad Headache, but didn't remember what happened after that. And left her wondering. I felt a portion of being the person hearing about/and witness a loved one have a stroke. I was 15 when my Grandpa Bourne had his stroke, and we were all worried. I have a cousin that had a stroke at 28 or 30. Scary, I heard about it from my Dad. My dad said that he has never heard his sister sound so frantic in a such a situation. It was freaky to hear about it!

Now, Get this, she was going on about the experience, she started talking about how much that experience has changed her perspective in Life. And that Life is too short to take it for granted! She mentioned something personal that I'll keep silent. But I felt so happy for her for and felt really touched that she shared that! She told me that she thanked me for letting her talk! And that she needed it and it helped her!

Most of her sight in her left eye is back! And she's been able to drive now for 3 months! Keep going my friend! I hope more amazing things happen in your life! You've touched me more than you know! :D

Adoption

November is Adoption Awareness month!!! :D I have friends that are Birth mothers, and have friends that have Adopted Children whether they are open or they are closed Adoption. My Friend Stefanie Despain is a Birth Mother that is pretty open with her Story! As well as her adoption is open! She is one of the strongest people I know! She has grown so much with in the past 2 years or so! And I'm so happy for her that she recently got married to the most Amazing Guy in September! :D And Living her own Happily Ever After! ;)

My Friend Cali Nelson Placed her Son for Adoption 3 years ago! And Let me tell ya! She is an amazing Co-worker and friend! I Love this Girl! Her adoption is Open, but she doesn't see him very often! But Like all Birth Mothers she has her own story, and she is an amazing person today because of it! Her Son is the Cutest little boy! She thinks Highly of him because of the Love she has for him! She shows pictures of me when ever she gets new pictures when we are working! She as well is Married and happy! She and her Husband have 2 cute little Girl Kittens! :D

I Love these Girls like crazy! Reading Stef's Blog has been amazing to follow this past year and a half since she was about 3 1/2 months Pregnant with her Birth Daughter. I always look forward to what comes next because she writes about anything from Adoption, work, Her Marriage, Olivia and her Adoptive family Dustinn, Valery, Bradshaw and Olivia Jackson, Friends, family, the Gospel, etc...

Cali, I see her almost everyday at work, and she is fun to work with! LOVE HER! haha!
She updates her blog when she can! But, she is one that doesn't talk about her Adoption... but when she needs the vent she does it, and reading her thoughts is so amazing to me, I Look up to both of these Girls! And I hope they don't mind me Bragging a little about them! ;)

Lagoon Frightmares

Last Saturday I went to Lagoon Frightmares with some friends and made a couple new ones that were in my group! :D My friend Larry Fullenwider invited me to go and luckily I was able to get someone to cover for me at work. I was up there for the whole day! haha! Crazy!

Grrrr! I can't upload pictures from my facebook... :( because when I try to transfer to my lap top they all have the same address or something like that... :P

Anyways, We rode pretty much all the rides(including re-entry(which is my least favorite! :P) We watched a hypnotist show! It was so entertaining! I should have volunteered for the heck of it, but I didn't. It was so much fun to watch people get so relaxed, a few people got so relaxed that they fell out of their chairs! But he just played with them and was saying towards the end that they would say that that experience was one of the best in their life! It was so much fun! At one point, he put them all to sleep(those that actually were hypnotised), he put them to sleep, and told them that when they woke up that they'd be 4 year olds and act as so innocent and cute and fun. When they woke up, he asked them what their favorite show was, most of them named Barney and Friends. Haha! One guy was like "I don't like Barney!" (heck yes! haha!). So he put him to sleep, and said that when he wakes up he would no longer be 4 years old. He would wake up and he'd be Barney, act like him. He gave him a purple cape with a green belly. When he woke up. The Hypnotist said "Boys and Girls please welcome Barney. They all cheered. And skipped around to the theme song. "Barney is a Dinosaur from our imagination..." Then when they were done with that, The hypnotist said, "Now Barney, our Audience has a special request to sing the famous song, 'I Love you' now kids while singing this you must sing as loud as you can, and go out and hug everybody in the audience." I got hugged by three people! It was so hilarious! :D haha! They were in the middle of doing that, and he said wake, and they were all so confused of what they were doing. He's like what are you guys doing? uhh.... I don't know... The guy that was Barney, he took off the costume and put it behind his shirt! haha! It was classic! The hypnotist gave them "500 dollar Bills" and said that when they woke up they would talk about their experience freely, and if anybody asks about the 500 dollar bills that they would deny that they have them. And when they went to bed they'd remember about the 500 dollar bill.

That show was so amazing! :D I went into two of the Haunted attractions(I hate Haunted stuff... :P) But my favorite one was the walls were painted with glow in the dark paint, and you had to wear 3D glasses, the only thing that I didn't like about it so much was that I had a head ache and the strogue lights just made that worse! :P other than that I enjoyed that part. Jumped a couple times, and the actors kept following me around! gah! Stay away from me, you're in my bubble!

Haha! I have friends that are like, oh! Guess what you're coming with us to go to Haunted Forest... Oh boy! haha! I even have a friend that works there! Oh JOY! This is going to be interesting!

Just Friends...

Deitrick and broke up... simply of the reason that we both prayed about it... and simply we aren't meant to be together... :( It was hard, and it still is, because I still have feelings for him! And He has the same feelings for me! The thing that was funny, we both came to that realization on the same day, and talked about it the next day in person... He was the one that brought it up, partly because I didn't want to break up yet... But it's for the best I guess... I'll learn to move on. We decided together to just be friends, of which I'd rather happen than a horrible break up ending in a fight and having drama all the time you run into each other and ignore each other... it's better to end on good terms and not talk than not talk at all...

This weekend Deitrick's phone turned off because his father turned it off... And I went crazy, because he is my best friend right now that I tell pretty much everything to! And him not having a phone, I just went crazy! I totally didn't sleep well the last 2 nights because I usually called him when going to bed and would chat with him for a little bit. I know it sounds like we're still together...

Since I moved back to my parent's house in Lehi, I have been I guess you can say a different person than what I've been used to for about a year! because I am back to my old ways of being home all the time and being bored... most of my friends that I enjoy hanging out with live in Orem/provo area, and I can't exactly go out and hang out with them... Buses always come late, or I go out end up having fun that I want to stay out late and not want to come home. I Love being home... but, when I was in Orem, It took me 5 to ten minutes to the bus stop to get me where ever I wanted to go, whether I was going to the mall, or to UVU, or to meet up with some friends to hang out... Or I had friends that lived a few minutes away to pick me up and drive somewhere to go have fun! It was so much easier to get around... where in Lehi, I Live about a mile away from the nearest Bus stop! I miss having my own space to just breath when needed, and having a place to myself for a couple hours or so while my roommate was out and about. Here I am complaining about everything in my life is so messed up and what not... I need to start thinking about what I am truly thankful for! Probably things will look better that way!

Today, I'm grateful that I at least have a job. I don't like my work environment right now... Which I know is at every work place you go to. But at Where I work, it used to not be the way it is right now... People still gossiped which I chose to stay out of that and still do...But it was kind of a party! I worked with a ton of great and fun people. Through this past year and a half it feels like everything is changing. People are more moody than usual, I can understand every once in a while... but everyday? Gah! I want to be happy at work! And finding a better job right now is not going so well... :P

As you all know I failed the test for the 3rd time... I'm not sure if I want to take the test again... :( How sad is that? :( If I do take the test again I'll probably take it in November... Cause I think by then I'll be ready to do it again and my mind will be more clear!


This past weekend I got a New book! :D Backlash by Traci Hunter Abramson(my favorite Author! :) It's a really good book! haha!

Yesterday(October 17,2010), I got to go to Ward Prayer with my ward in Orem! Oh it was nice to see people again! I Miss that ward like crazy! It felt better to be around Deitrick when other people were around, but when we were alone driving in the car to a destination, it was tough! I wanted to cuddle, hug, and just be close, and just feel Loved! I told him when I dropped him off at his house, that I liked being with him when being with a Group of people. Being alone with him just drove us crazy! And it would just hurt us more!

Right now, I'm not wanting to be home... I'm wanting to be out and about doing things with friends so that I won't think too much! Basically I want to distract myself even though I can't deny what I felt for deitrick was real. I just need friends and be more social and put myself out there! And just have fun! Just not too much fun right?! haha! :D

Grr...what started with a crapy week, ending a lot better! :D

Well, I failed the Pharmacy Tech test again... I'm really starting to wonder if this path is right for me...? :P I shouldn't fail a test 3 times! I'll try to take it again... I'm just so confused with it! :P I don't know really if I want to try for a 4th time... :(

I did find a plan B if things don't work out... I don't really care if I don't get the job because it probably will just tell me to try again! I seriously just want a good steady income to help me get back to school and get back out on my own as well as benefits to help cover for TMJ Treatment... Friday a friend of mine put on facebook that jet blue airlines are hiring Inflight crew till the 26th. And she would send a recommendation letter, we just needed to let her know that we sent in an application. I think it would be pretty fun to travel, I just wouldn't be home so much... :( But they have great benefits, I would be able to get Health, eye, Dental, and Life insurance! My family and I would be able to get discount tickets to fly. It would be awesome to have that for when we go up to the Calgary, Alberta Temple Open house.

Deitrick's Birthday and Six months...

September 2nd is Deitrick's Birthday, this year he turned 22! :D I was able to have the day off to spend the whole day with him! :D It was so much fun! :D I slept at my friend's house the night before, then in the morning, Deitrick and our friend Larry came and picked my friend Jessica Fratcher up and we went out for ihop for Breakfast/lunch. Then went and looked at Deitrick's favorite Car the Sion TC. It looks pretty awesome! :D

See look at the engine! on the left side is where you can change the oil, and other liquids that you are able to fix with out ruining the engine.. the right side you see the battery, and other things that, only the mechanic can play with to fix what ever can go wrong... there is so much room! :D

Then we helped Jessica what was wrong with her car, which was crazy, she needs to sell that thing for parts... or something... cause the Battery was out of shape like crazy! :P And the alternater was bad, and other things were wrong! :P Since it was an automatic it was jerking at certain rpms, and it was a automatic that you could drive manual... it was skipping a gear... and it was kinda scary to ride in... :P

After that, we went up to the Gateway mall, and just walked around and looked at a couple stores... :D I think we had a good time! :D

Getting used to things at home... somewhat...

So I moved back home to Lehi a few weeks ago... and I've been getting used to having Curfews... :P And being home again... I LOVE having my own space, and I don't exactly have a lot of that to myself... you have to go through my room to get to the family room... although it's going to change soon after I finally finish unpacking my boxes, and sorting my room out, and getting ride of some JUNK! :P My Dad plans on finishing the family room after the 21st of August...

Anyways, I've had a Netflix Membership since Christmas of '09. And I Love it! I get one movie at a time for nine bucks a month! :D Since I've lived at home I've had a classic cartoon home about every week... soon I'll be getting movies that I want to watch... But about every tuesday night it's my night with my Little sisters! And Boy do they LOVE spending time with me! :D And I Love being able to spend time with them! They are so fun, and make my day and make me smile! They are gorgeous and amazing little girls! ;)

Purple! Purple! Purple! Oh! Did I mention Purple? ;)

Yes! I changed my blog and I totally like this a ton! I was hoping there would be one with swimming lanes on it because I would totally do it! :D But Purple does it pretty well don't you think? ;) And Yes My favorite color is purple(incase you didn't notice;) haha! Yes I'm a tinsy bit obsessed with the color! :D Ok you caught me it's an exageration! I admidt I'm obsessed with the color a lot! Probably a lot more than a lot! ok I think you really got the point now! Anyways, tomorrow is going to be a busy day! :P I'm moving my furniture to my parents house tomorrow! It's going to be an interesting adjustment... and I hope I'll be able to adjust well... if not I'll do my best to live with it till I have the means to be able to move back out on my own again!

Anyways just a bit of an update with my Pharmacy Tech stuff! I'm going to be doing a ton of Tech hours next month like I mean seriously! ;) by the time August is through I'll have close to 100 hours done and I would be able to take the National Tech exam with in a couple weeks after the class is done! When I pass the test(a little positive attitude there! ;) I'll finish my hours and start the Application process to get my Technician License hopefully before Thanksgiving(that is if my plans and dream go through well! ;) Keep the fingers crossed and some prayers as well! I'm totally excited to get this done! If I'm not able to get a Technician job at Taylor Drug, then I'm going to see if I can go to my Boss' new pharmacy to Tech there, if I'm not able to there, then I'll start applying to Hospitals and other retail pharmacies!

I'm so wanting a car so bad! Like I mean bad! I've always wanted a car since before I was even 13 years old! But I kind of knew that I wouldn't get one till I was in my early 20's(that fact I figured out when I actually turned 16)when I either have a college degree or if I got married... yeah... looks like I may be getting a car before then! ;) I want to get a car shortly after getting my Technician License so that if I do need to travel, I wouldn't have to worry about driving the BUS anymore! I hate the bus! I'd prefer having a ride or even BETTER, Driving! ;)

My Dream car I totally want? Yeah! a Mazda 3 or a new Kia Forte SE(sports type deal)(Manual drive on both cars) Mazda 3 is a very cute car, but it's also FAST! Heck yes! ;) but I like to drive safe too... I don't exactly want to get a speeding ticket! The Kia Forte is the same thing as a Kia Sephia and the Kia Spectra, it just has more stuff in it to make it fast, and really people don't think of Kia when buying a car, it's not a common car, but it's a pretty good car! I haven't test driven or ridden in the Kia Forte, but the interior looks amazing it has a 6 speed and has really good trunk room! ;) I've ridden in a Mazda 3! ;) haha! Deitrick's older Brother has one and I freaking love the ride! It's very smooth! And Both cars have good leg room in the back seat(at least of what I remember...) But I think the Kia Forte has better leg room...

When I get myself a car though, I'll probably get a simple $2,000 car, nothing made my GM though, probably a honda or an older Kia Spetcra or Sephia depending on what I find, I hope it'll last me till I can get myself one of my Dream Cars! ;) I'm so Excited! ;)

Oh! What color? Well, since purple isn't really that great of a color on a car, I probably won't get a purple exterior, but I'll probably get a silver car of some sort, and put purple Seat Covers, and some stickers on the windows that are purple! ;)

Interesting Weekend

Jack took a long look at his speedometer
Before slowing down: 73 in a 55 zone.
Fourth time in as many months..
How could a guy get caught so often?

When his car had slowed to 10 miles an hour,
Jack pulled over, but only partially.
Let the cop worry about the potential traffic hazard..
Maybe some other car will tweak his backside with a mirror.
The cop was stepping out of his car,
The big pad in hand..

Bob? Bob from Church?
Jack sunk farther into his trench coat.
This was worse than the coming ticket.
A cop catching a guy from his own church.
A guy who happened to be a little eager
To get home after a long day at the office..
A guy he was about to play golf with tomorrow..

Jumping out of the car,
He approached a man he saw every Sunday,
A man he'd never seen in uniform.


'Hi, Bob. Fancy meeting you like this.'



'Hello, Jack.' No smile.

'Guess you caught me red-handed
In a rush to see my wife and kids.'

'Yeah, I guess.' Bob seemed uncertain.
Good.

'I've seen some long days at the office lately.
I'm afraid I bent the rules a bit -just this once.'

Jack toed at a pebble on the pavement.
'Diane said something about roast beef and potatoes tonight.
Know what I mean?'

'I know what you mean.
I also know that you have a reputation in our precinct .'
Ouch.
This was not going in the right direction.
Time to change tactics.

'What'd you clock me at?'

'Seventy. Would you sit back in your car please?'

'Now wait a minute here, Bob.
I checked as soon as I saw you.
I was barely nudging 65.'
The lie seemed to come easier with every ticket.

'Please, Jack, in the car'

Flustered, Jack hunched himself through the still-open door. Slamming it shut, he stared at the dashboard..
He was in no rush to open the window.

The minutes ticked by.
Bob scribbled away on the pad..

Why hadn't he asked for a driver's license?

Whatever the reason,
It would be a month of Sundays
Before Jack ever sat near this cop again.

A tap on the door jerked his head to the left.
There was Bob, a folded paper in hand
Jack rolled down the window a mere two inches,
Just enough room for Bob to pass him the slip.

'Thanks..'
Jack could not quite keep the sneer out of his voice.

Bob returned to his police car without a word.
Jack watched his retreat in the mirror.
Jack unfolded the sheet of paper.
How much was this one going to cost?

Wait a minute.
What was this? Some kind of joke?

Certainly not a ticket. Jack began to read:

'Dear Jack, Once upon a time I had a daughter..
She was six when killed by a car.
You guessed it - a speeding driver.
A fine and three months in jail, and the man was free.
Free to hug his daughters, all three of them.
I only had one, and I'm going to have to wait until Heaven
Before I can ever hug her again.

A thousand times I thought I had.
Maybe I did, but I need to do it again.

Jack turned around in time to see Bob's car
pull away and head down the road.
Jack watched until it disappeared.
A full 15 minutes later, he too,
pulled away and drove slowly home,
praying for forgiveness and
hugging a surprised wife and kids when he arrived...

Life is precious.
Handle with care.

I got this in an e-mail today from my dad... and I almost cried and definitely had the chills! I would hate to loose a child to someone that was speeding down the road, I would have a hard time. But I would have a hard time, but I would forgive the person I've done it before, it wasn't easy, it needed to be done, and I did it. Just watch yourself and people on the street! ;) and thought I'd share. :D

Anyways, when I was reading I thought about an accident I saw the other day... I was just out driving out with my boyfriend and our friend Rainbow! And we go on 4th N. and 8th W. in Orem, and we see a car that's up side down and there is damage to the building right next to it... As well as car parts by a tree and everywhere! Well, of course we got curious as to how this car got to where it was because it's not everyday that you see a result of an accident a building having damage and the car is damaged that it's not a doubt that it's totaled! So we get closer to the scene. We were hearing rumors of what happened but those rumors didn't make sense at all! But my Boyfriend was able to talk to a couple witnesses. They said that a girl was running away from the police(kind of fishy... :P) and they are speeding and in the middle of the road, she sees a couple cars coming and she slams on her breaks, drifts hits a curb and goes flying through a tree then on top of the building where the passenger was knocked out of the car, and he started running away... and the car landed upside down by the building.

Yeah.... learned a few things... LOL Don't run away from cops it'll end up bad no matter what you try to do...(jail definitely, death or serious injury, if lucky) and if you're going high speeds on a road, don't slam on the breaks let go of the gas to let your car slow down! As well as the fact DON'T BE STUPID! And risk killing someone! Be careful out there people!

So I came up with my decision of what to do, and I have to pack everything in my room by Thursday and clean what I'm supposed to clean by Saturday! This week is going to be busy! I shouldn't even be on here to begin with! LOL Anyways, I decided to move back home with my parents... mixed feeling about it... I'm excited to be able to go home and save my money! And being able to see my family, but I really like being out on my own! Having my own curfew! And being able to do what ever I want! :D I want to be able to get a car, and finish up my Pharmacy Tech license! Then save up for what I may need to be able to move out on my own again! :D

Moving Somewhere? Staying? Or Moving back Home?

Earlier this week My roommate told me that she was offered to move in with her Grandparents in Lehi, so it's my choice if I want to stay? Move to another place? Or Move back home in Lehi? Well, I have asked someone if they wanted to be my roommate. And I told them that they needed to let me know by the 17th. Because that would be about 2 weeks for me to start packing... and yeah, I also looked at a place... it is bigger than my place but the room that I would be staying in is smaller... but has a pretty good sized closet... and I have a storage shed in the backyard to put extra stuff there. ;) So I put in an application. and I should know by Sunday if I'm going to be able to move in or not... And if I don't get chosen and my friend says no... then I'll move back to Lehi where I'll be able to save money, as well as, I'll be able to see my sisters more often! ;) And When I get my Pharmacy Technician License, I will probably want to move back out again, as well as get myself a car! I've always wanted a car! I LOVE TO DRIVE!!! :D It's my favorite thing to do, and I haven't done it a whole lot since I moved out of my parents house! I've driven a few times in the old camery, my parent's Van, their New Kia, my ex-boyfriend's Car(when we were dating), and my current Boyfriend's Car(before she died...). My current boyfriend taught me how to drive a manual drive Car! :D And I so want one to keep practicing on... a little nervous... but I'll be able to have better Gas millage than an Automatic car! And be entertained while I drive. ;) And In someways I'm set on moving back home in Lehi, I just like being independent, and having my own space, being able to have some alone time and breath! And I haven't had a T.V. for almost a year! I've watched movies! ;) I don't think I'll watch a lot of T.V. anymore... I find other things to do... even if it's just going on the computer... LOL. Sure I love some T.V. Shows... but I don't even know if the ones that I have liked for like ever are still on... Like Numbers, Ghost Whisper, I think NCIS is still going on. :D But yeah, I'll keep you updated on what I decide to do... I hope everything works out no matter what I decide to do! ;)

First Horseback ride in my LIFE!!! :D

So on Sunday evening, My dad called me to invite me to come down and learn how to ride a horse! OH HECK YES!! I felt I got just as excited as a little Girl! Riding a horse has been a dream of mine since I was a little Girl like between the ages 8 and 10 possibly... I just know I've always wanted to ride a horse since I was a little girl, and I got that dream and wish Yesterday!!! Yesterday though started out really crazy! I was planning on getting up around like between 9:30 or 10 to so that I can call my dad and tell him to come get me at like 11 or so... so that I would have enough time to get ready for the day... Yeah... Didn't happen... :P LOL I woke up about quarter to noon... yeah! I had a couple missed calls a voice mail and a text message from my dad, and a FB message from both of my parents asking if I was ok... LOL Yes, I was ok, I just stayed up later than planned, and woke up late! But we were able to get to my neighbors house in Lehi on time to ride horses! It was a blast! And guess what! I'm sore like crazy on the insides of my legs! so I'm kinda walking like a cowgirl... LOL IT was so much fun! I LOVE HORSES!! :D

Eclipse, The Last Air Bender, and Family Fun! :D

Ok, so this week has been a very busy week for me! haha! Last Sunday was my cousin Marlei's Birthday! :D And my family went over to her house to have some cake and Ice Cream. It was pretty fun! On Tuesday, I went with Marlei, her friend Katherine, and my Two Aunts to see the Twilight Saga-Eclipse(which out of all the books is my favorite book, then it's Breaking Dawn, I despise the first two books, Because Bella Drives me insane and the actual best part of the plot doesn't start till the middle of the book, the first half of Twilight is the crazy, "oh Edward is so amazing! I just can't get over how good he looks Oh my Gosh!" and the first half of New Moon "Oh my gosh! It hurts so bad that he's gone! I can't live with out him! What can I do to get Edward back in my life? Oh I'll jump off a cliff!" And yes I've read the books) I'm not either an Edward or Jacob fan, I do like Edward better though... but I don't care about either Character, if you were to ask me which Character was my favorite? Alice Cullen by far is my favorite! Why? I Love her personality! If there was someone out there with that same type of personality, I would want to hang out with them quite a bit! I would be happy around her! And would have tons of fun! I Love her jumpy, fun attitude! Then it's Carlisle, then Seth(one of the Warewolves). Anyways, I like Eclipse because it actually has a plot starting towards the beginning of the book, where an Army is starting to be created and the Cullens are worried that the Vulturi might come and take care of it on their own... And what makes it "worse" is that eventually they're coming for Bella blindly doing it for the Avenge of James' Death(at the end of Twilight) for Victoria(yes, I know most of you have read the Twilight Series, you guys may not like me for "mocking" the books a little but I don't honestly care I know what a good book is, and the Twilight series isn't one of those "good" books there are obviously better books out there, that's just my opinion, and I'm not much of a reader anyways, I read the books because, I heard people talking about them, including my mom and she didn't like them all that much, and she expressed them to me, and I decided to make my own opinion of the books, I have a Love/hate relationship with the series), so Edward is trying to protect Bella from harm(mind you he gets a little controlling but then stops, because he wants what's best for Bella and he wants her to be Happy). Jasper Trains the Cullens and the Warewolves how to fight newborn Vampires(which I like the imagination), You get to hear how Jasper and Rosalie become Vampires(of which I gain more respect for Rosalie, cause It helped me understand why she can be such a brat sometimes.). I don't like how spoiled Bella is in any of the books, she drives me off the wall! I did like the movie Eclipse and I would buy the DVD in a heartbeat.
I also like how old fashioned Edward is, I like how he explained to Bella. "If I would have met you in Italy, I would have definitly have courted you, and I wouldn't kiss you till after I asked your father for your hand, and I would have knelt down and proposed and would have given you a ring." I Like how he explained that to Bella to help her "wake up" that Marriage isn't just a "Piece of paper" It's actually a serious commitment and a life long experience. :D




The very next day(Wednesday), I had to work from 9-5 but I let someone come in at three for me because, I was so tired, I got to my Cousin's house at 3 in the morning, and didn't get to sleep till almost 4... so I had about 4 hours of sleep. Went home and I slept a little bit, then I went with Deitrick up to Salt Lake to pick up his Mom from work, while waiting we went to a Kia Dealership and he showed me the new Kia Forte(which is the Kia Spectra and Sophia, they just have changed the name of the car.) and it's a pretty nice car! He likes Manual cars so this car has a 6 gear shift! which can go pretty fast, and can be a pretty good race car if he were to soup it up a little bit(which he probably could if he were to get it;). Then we went for a drive through Parley's Canyon and he showed me a spot where you can see the entrance of the Canyon and some of Salt lake Valley. it was really pretty(it would have been more beautiful if there wasn't any haze... :P We went to the Cinemark and waited in line for the Midnight showing for the Last Airbender. There were some people that dressed up(one of the things I miss the most from working at a Movie theater was teasing people wearing costumes for the big movies Like pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. there were people that looks cheesy and looked really good, like for example, there were a couple girls that dressed up as Jack Sparrow, and you couldn't tell that they were girls till they spoke, the looked so close to what he looked like that you could be fooled! They did such a good job dressing up! It was awesome! ;)There were some cheesy costumes and there were people that were pretty convincing that they were a certain character my favorite one was Ang someone dressed up as Ang, and he looked pretty good that he could have been the actual actor. ;) What I thought of the Actual movie... uhh... I wasn't too much of a fan of it... although the effects were amazing, and the acting was pretty good for the most part, and the plot lined up very well, it felt different, you know how the Cartoon(if you've seen the Cartoon) was funny because of some of the things that Ang and Soka did? Well, there weren't a lot of funny parts or jokes that Soka would say in the Movie, Soka was serious, as well as Ang. In the Cartoon when Soka and Gatara first discover Ang, he still acts like a child, and he's playful, and fun! It's obvious that he's not ready to be the Avatar yet! And as he was training he was able to be serious and learn what he needed to be learning. I don't think I'll see it again, They changed some of the sayings that they say at the beginning of the Movie, and it was kind of cheesy that they said "...The Avatar was the only one that can communicate with the Spirit world and keep everybody's hearts in Harmony..."(it's true he can communicate to the spirit world, but that's not how it's said in the Cartoon... It said "...The Avatar was the only one that can bend all of the Elements to control the Fire Lord..." I know some people may like the seriousness that Ang, and Soka had... I liked it to the extent that they were focused but, gotta have some laughs here and there like in the Cartoon! :D


Now for the family fun! :D Yesterday my family did our family festivities because that was the only time for everybody to do it because we had cousins coming down from Logan and they both had to go back to work Monday... so yesterday was our fourth of July! We pretty much met out in front to visit and what not while waiting for Dinner... And since it was pretty shady in the front yard at my Grandparents house we just moved the tables and BBQ's to the front and we all just hung out there! I think everybody had a good time! I'll just show a few pictures! :D
