I'm officially a "Love BYRD"!! :D

Jordan and I finally got married December 14, 2012. We are very excited and ecstatic to be sealed in the temple on our 1 year anniversary. It was a beautiful and wonderful day. We had a glorious time spending it with each other and celebrating our marriage with friends and family! Thank you to all those that were able to celebrate our wedding day with us! :D I put up some pictures from our wedding day. We are at last Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Byrd. Also known as the "Love Byrds!" ;)
Jordan and I posing for our first pictures as husband and wife. It actually was a beautiful day even with a little bit of rain that came down. It was beautiful. :D I Loved my bouquet everything turned out simply amazing and turned out right and perfect for our wedding day. We also took some pictures before we even got ready for the wedding as kind of a "Before" and "After" sort of deal you'll see some of my favorites as you scroll down.
My Handsome Husband before he saw me for the first time.
"You may kiss the Bride" Our first kiss as Husband and Wife! :D
Cutting the cake. I'll tell you more about it on another picture of our cake. :D
My husband's first reaction when I came out of the room I was getting ready in.
This is our Beautiful and wonderful cake that his oldest brother worked for hours before the wedding day on this cake. He said it was his last cake and was going to come out with a bang! And I'd say he did! :D He got some of the flowers from where I ordered the flowers for the bouquet, Boutonniere, and corsages. I got so many compliments on my cake and was very happy to be able to share the compliments to "the chef." Having my bouquet right next to it made it such a compliment to the cake that I couldn't take it off. It just suited so nicely where it was. I didn't have to worry about it wrinkling during the commencement of the reception.
My poor youngest sister got sick again with the flu bug during the reception that my mom had to take her home early, she was very sad that she missed the bouquet toss. My mom was able to give me a good luck hug and kiss before she left.
My favorite picture of our rings with the purple sparkly Poinsettias.
The next couple pictures are before our wedding we took them by the railroad tracks close to where I live. It was beautiful, cold and fun! :D

Our first dance "Just as Kiss" by: Lady Antebellum

My cute adorable sisters were my ring barriers. My Mother in Law made the ring pillows and the ribbon girls baskets which turned out very cute as well. :D I loved every detail.
Final prep before going out to the ceremony.
Daddy/Daughter dance. "Butterfly Kisses" by: Bob Carlisle I started crying when the song started. It's been my dream Daddy/Daughter dance since I was 16 years old. I guess you can say it's mine and my dad's song. We've always enjoyed it since I was a teenager maybe even before then.
Very first picture as husband and wife.
My mom and dad have a picture similar to this one from their wedding pictures, and I wanted to continue that tradition.
Since my brother is on his mission we wanted to let him know that we were thinking of him on our special day. My dad grabbed a piece of paper and a marker for my mom to write his name down.
Haha! This was caught at the perfect moment. I love it! So Jordan was taught how to untie my ring off the pillow before the wedding for about an hour or so(maybe exaggerating but not sure it's just what I heard;) and my lesson was just a couple seconds before and after the pillow was made, and helped my husband with getting my ring off the pillow. You know how they say a picture explains a thousand words? Well, this is one of them that could pull that off. ;)
So our cake wasn't gluten free so Jordan couldn't have a bite, so he let me get his piece of cake all over his face.

I know it was kind of a jumble and the pictures were all over the place, from through out the day, but I hope you had some fun seeing the pictures. It was a wonderful day, we both enjoyed ourselves and had fun every minute of it. Our married life has been a wonderful journey so far. And look forward to future adventures as we get closer to meeting our educational goals, as well as our spiritual goals as we go through out our marriage, one day at a time. Enjoying each others company and getting to know each other on a deeper friendship level called Marriage. ;)

Elder Collin Robinson in the MTC

Well, Collin is now set apart and entered the MTC September 26, 2012. Yes, a week! It's actually gone by so fast for me cause, of work and other things that have been going on. Elder Robinson sent us his first letter in the MTC last Friday, and it was funny! He mentioned that he was there not even a day and everybody was warning him of the Chocolate milk and Orange Juice(Shorty was even warning him about them) someone in his district named Elder Call is a distant relative namely related to Anson Bowen Call. Which is our great great grandfather. He was really good friends with Joseph Smith. Moved to the west with Brigham Young, and when Polygamy became illegal, the Call family moved down to Mexico. His companion(not sure of his name, I couldn't read his name for the life of me! :P) is senior companion and District leader and is in the field as of this week I believe.

Anyways here's some pictures at the temple that my mom took just before we dropped him off. We went to Brick Oven for Lunch with my Grandpa and Grandma Bourne. It was a lot of fun! :D

As we were walking to the temple, this guy asks my brother. "Hey! Where are you going?" Collin: "To the temple." Everyone: " No, on your mission." Collin: "Oh! Spokane Washington."

My Brother and I since I didn't make it to his graduation.

Collin's Mission call!

June 2012

Elder Collin Robinson received his mission call to Spokane, Washington Mission he leaves September 26, 2012. I can't believe it is a week away! I heard he did a wonderful farewell talk September 9, 2012 even though I missed it, it was good to hear how he did and that he continues to get compliments on his talk everyday since or at least every week. It will be interesting to see his progress and growth over the next 2 years. His birthday was yesterday and is now officially 19 years old. I'm so happy and proud that he made the decision on his own to go on a mission, not just because his parents, peers, and other family. That is definitely a good thing.

As we were spending the day together as brother and sister, he was saying that he was getting trunky to go out and do what the Lord has in store for him to do his work. He said he wasn't ready to go but he was ready to get going. I'd say that's a good answer if anybody were to ask him if he's ready for the mission.

The small world of this that is really fun is that Shorty(my fiance) went to the same mission, and the new mission president was his past bishop growing up. He's a very kind man, always smiling and a great talent in Photography! I Look forward to hear from Collin his experiences throughout his mission!

Good Luck Collin on your mission! I Love and will miss you!

I'll see if I can make the time to write a few feelings when he leaves to the MTC.
