True Love

Stefanie Did this amazing post about True Love. It's what she learned about in her Institute Class! I Love it! It made me feel really happy because of having an amazing Boyfriend! :D I'll keep you updated as days go by! :D hehehe! I feel very happy for my friend Stefanie! She's Engaged to an amazing guy! :D Love ya Stef! <3

Meet My Boyfriend Deitrick

This is my Boyfriend Deitrick! :D he likes people to call him Deitrick(to remember De trick say D-Trick). He is going to be 22 in September, he recently returned from his mission in December. Where did he go? Denver, Colorado. Is he going to school? Not yet, but hopes to go starting in the Summer, and majoring in Art and minoring in Buisiness Management. Is he respectful? YES! Definitely! It always catches me off guard of everything he does. And he does everything because he wants to do them for me because of the respect he has for me! Last week, he came to Lehi with me to meet my parents and my family, and then I went on a Double Date with my younger Brother to see the 12 Angry Jurors. Deitrick used to be a Techie in High School, so he observed not just the play, but the Techie stuff, and he talked about it with my parents... I don't remember exactly of what he said, but he was thinking about it after ward on our way home, and right when we came on the Freeway, he said "2 things I should keep my mouth shut on... 1 Techie stuff, Theater, etc.. 2. Art, because I know a lot about them and I need to respect other peoples opinions. I Looked at him with amazement! I was shocked and surprised because Kevin was very blunt, and sometimes state his opinions on others especially when it comes to Movies. And it would take my parents to tell me what he said didn't make them very happy...

Everyday from last Wednesday till Tuesday, we would be out and about way past midnight, and I would go to work tired... On Tuesday, we were in his car watching a silly Cartoon, and about 11:30 I told him that even though we haven't done anything bad or anything, I didn't want to risk it. And told him that we needed to make our own curfew of getting me home before midnight. And Since then, he has an alarm set for 11:30 p.m to get me home, and midnight to have him go home after dropping me off. How awesome is that?! And he knows that I don't have a temple recommend quite yet from past mistakes, but close, and I told him that once I get it on SUNDAY, I want to go do baptisms at least once a week! :D And he said he would be happy to accompany me! I feel so special for the smallest things! And I Love it! :D

Deitrick is going to teach me how to drive a Stick shift! I totally look forward to it, even though I'm totally nervous, but he'll be able to help me through it... and I hope I don't kill his Car either! ;) hehehe! But yeah, yesterday, I thought I wasn't going to see him, and I had a friend that needed a Male Model to help her for her work to be able to cut his hair(no, I didn't make the clue that he needed a hair cut... He said he wanted to cut it...), and I asked Deitrick if he would be willing to do it, anyways, I was telling him how to get there, and he said that all of what you just said went through one part of my brain to the other, which is ok because I'm coming to get you because I want to see you and you can show me where this place is at! Ahh! So cute! ;) I'm Loving him more everyday! ;) I met his Dad on Monday, His Step Mom and Younger sister on Tuesday. I met His Mom(of whom he's really close to! ;) yesterday, and his Three brothers Mikell(his oldest Brother and really good friend, he's Married and has 2 kids), Spencer(he's about Kevin's Age, and Deitrick wants to set him up on a date with my Co-worker Lyndsay Spencer), then his younger Brother Sterling(he is about a Month younger than me). When I was at his mom's house last night I was laughing my head off! Spencer is so close to my Brother's personality, they would get a long so well because of how interesting their Imaginations are so similar! Haha! Spencer called himself the Psychotic brother, and that is what I can see Collin doing as a joke! ;) haha! I cracked up so much last night! This past week have been awesome! Sometime I'll have to get a picture of Deitrick and I together! :D

Fun Weekend! :D

So I met this guy in my singles ward about a month ago! And I just recently started dating him this week, we've gone on 3 dates in a row! And I have to admit, I have stayed up really late(luckily I didn't have to work this weekend other wise I would have been very tired! ;), and I went to church today with a huge smile on my face! hehehe! He's so amazing! :D His name is Benjamin Deitrick(He likes to be called by Deitrick). Our friendship has been gradual and I pretty much don't remember when I really started to like him! But, at first I saw him as a friend, but he just poked out at me... all of a sudden I wanted to be around him a little bit more when ever I was with a group of people in my Ward. He just makes me laugh, and I enjoy my time around him! :D Every time I say Goodbye for the night, I don't want to leave, I always find myself wanting to get to know him better, I just want to be with him! Does that sound weird at all? Here is what I know about him so far! :D He is wanting to major in Art(I don't remember which kind of art though... :( LOL) He recently returned from his Mission last December! His Birthday is September 2. He has a very strong testimony of the gospel! There's just something about him that makes me feel this way! It feels so right! I don't think I've smiled like this in a while! He's a great listener, and shows he cares! The other day, he told me 2 very specific things. 1. He won't do anything that will make me feel uncomfortable. 2. He'll Treat me like a Princess like I am. I haven't had one guy tell me those before! I've been treated like a princess before, but not as much Deitrick has with me just with in the past few days! I feel so excited all the time to just see him even if it is just a few minutes or even hearing his voice! He's already being so sweet! :D hehehe! It's definitely Spring! I'm feeling Twiterpated, and already loosing my mind! hehehe! I Love this time of year! Because It is Easter, General Conference, and best of all My Birthday is on the 5th of April! So dang excited! I'll be 20 this year! And I look forward to this next year of my Adventurous life! I Look back this past year and I've grown so much and learned so much about myself, the Gospel, and life in General! Being able to Live your life to the fullest no matter how hard times can get!

I Love life and didn't start Loving life till I was in High School really(ok, more like my Senior Year) Senior Year was the best year ever! Because I was able to forgive Nick and let him into the Lord's hands, and to tell you the Truth I haven't felt that free in my life as when I chose to do that, and I totally wish I could have figured it out sooner... but Heavenly Father wanted me to Learn things about myself before I was able to do that. I needed to Learn how to Love myself and tell myself I'm beautiful no matter what! And Swim Team helped a lot with that! :D It boosted my self esteem like crazy! I started to loose weight and get really fit! I was in the best shape I have been in my entire life since starting puberty! :P LOL I had a role model Named Leisa Worlton(my Sophomore year Swim Team Captain at least one of them...), I looked up to her like crazy! I wanted to be like her! But not pretend I was her, but she was always so happy all the time! Always willing to listen, to cheer you on, to be your friend! She was so amazing! I wanted to be like that! Also, I made the decision to do my hair differently everyday especially when my hair was pretty long my Junior year and towards the beginning part of my Senior year! ;) That was fun! I had a blast my Senior year, and I was truly Loving life, I had great friends that lifted me up! I had some really fun Dates as well! ;)

On a more serious note... My friend Stefanie the other day talked about a serious topic that affects everybody whether you know someone or not, and not a lot of people understand what it really is go to her Blog and read what she says including the link of the Article. I Love Stefanie, and I hope she knows that I think about her all the time! hehehe! I have had her in my prayers for a really long time! Basically since we were in Young Women's! I care and worry about her all the time! But I'm so happy for her right now as well! She recently got engaged 2 weeks ago! And she Gets Married August 7, 2010!! So excited for her! :D I Love her to Death! <3

Baby Hats!

Haha! I found something to occupy me when ever I get bored instead of wasting time on facebook! :D Making Baby hats! haha! Yesterday I went to a Relief Society Birthday Dinner! And it was so much fun! We did a service at 5 and then had dinner at 6:30 of which some members of the Elder's Quorum Served us dinner! Sister Lewis(Bishop's Wife) taught us how, and since I already knew how I was able to help some of the girls learn how! :D I have made 3 hats since yesterday! And they are so easy especially if you don't know how to crochet and Knit!

The last time I made hats for babies was when Kendra was coming into my Family's life, I needed to do a project for Good Works in the YW's Manual. And just before that I learned how to make hats on a loomb! And then I had the idea(this was like the January before Kendra was born). By the time Kendra was born I had 30 hats made(only because I got busy with school and Orchestra stuff... Anyways, It was a really fun experience because every hospital needs baby hats, and blankets and other things to help with humanitarian! :D

My Friend is Engaged! :D

My FriendStefanie Grawe is Engaged!!!! :D I'm so excited and happy for her!! Heavenly Father put Tayler in her life at the perfect time!!!! :D I haven't met Tayler yet and so far of what I've hear of him on her blog, and the looks on her face! Yeah! I Like him! I Approve STEF! :D hehehe! ;) But yeah! She has her proposal Story on her blog and our Friend Alyssa took pictures of the proposal! It was so cute! I wasn't there to see it, but I watched how they described it, and Alyssa took like 50 pictures she said today when I finally met her in person!

So anyways! I went to Institute today! And it was combining classes! Yeah! Crazy! Brother Peterson doesn't like big crowds but, he was ok with it as long as he doesn't have to do it again! LOL ;) But it was about Parables, and the Power of Forgiveness as well! And yeah, one of the Parables was about forgiving our debtors, and thine abusers. Yeah, kind of tender subject there but It was a good reminder that I still need to keep forgiving even though my abuser passed away about a week ago. I'm still grateful that I forgave him 2 years ago and let him into Heavenly Father's Hands that Heavenly Father could do what ever he wanted with him! He was free out of my Hands(you get what I mean right?) I didn't wish Death upon him, I just did what was best for me to do so that I was able to move on in my life and feel like I'm a normal person! It took me long enough to do so! I found out last Thursday that my abuser/tormentor as a child passed away of an Overdose.... :( And I can tell ya the truth, that when I found that out, I was relieved, and at peace, that I wouldn't have to worry about him being in my nightmares anymore, I don't have to worry about him hurting other Girls or even Himself. And then came the feelings of feeling sorry for his mother lossing a child to drugs, and maybe other things he might have been involved with... the last time I saw this kid was a couple months ago when he was buying a pack of syringes. I know I should be more compassionate about a death of someone that I wasn't very fond of, and I still need to learn to Love my neighbors as myself. I still have a lot to learn! I know, and in someways I still need to let go of the grudge or what is left of the grudge... repent of holding that grudge, and forgive him again... but more everytime! And I'm grateful for the Atonement to be able to heal, and to be able to have that reminder of Hello! This is what really matters here!! Is it really possible to move on from a Tragic experience? Is it really possible to forgive someone that hurt and offended you? Yes! It's just your choice of how long you want to hold the grudge(which I recommend not very long at all! Cause it SUCKS!) It is possible, if you put your Trust with God that he'll be able to help you through! Life can be great with many fun adventures, and those great and fun adventures may have some obstacles in your way, it's just your choice how you face those Obstacles, just as long as we finish each adventure with our Head High than the Last! ;)

A beautiful Funeral

I attened my Great Aunt Funeral today, I was able to hold back the tears untill right when my Cousin Sean started saying the Family Prayer before going to the Cultural Hall for the Funeral Services. And started singing the Hymns I couldn't stop crying because the spirit was so strong and I Love music! And I was supposed to help out with the musical number of sitting by my Aunt Cindi while my sisters and my Cousin Sean and Brynn's Kids, Noah and Ellie sing " I am a Child of God" And it would've made my Aunt Delene Smile! :D Actually I think it did! :D But I was so teary eyed, right before they sang it, I pretty much said a quick prayer so that I could make it through that with out crying! LOL and it worked! LOL not that I doubted it, cause I played my viola last weekend at Stake conference of which I will talk about in a later post... Anyways, My Aunt Delene's Cousin spoke after the musical number and of course after all the life stories and memories of Aunt Delene! And he did such a great job! I think his was my favorite, because he shared a story I have never heard before about my Great Grandpa Houskeeper! He was playing around and teasing my Great Grandma Houskeeper, and Grandpa wasn't too happy with that, so he ran after him(Shelby Pierce was his name), and they were both running around the park, Shelby got to where some swing sets were and he swiped it right behind him while running past the swing, and it wacked my Grandpa right in the Chest and knocked him to the ground Laughing his head off!(at least that is how I took it). But it was so funny! I don't think I'm going to ever forget that story! ;) Anyways, it was interesting, some family that I didn't really know, there was a lady that could look like Aunt Delene's sister or something, she almost looked just like Aunt Delene, it was crazy! And one of the Pallbearers (Kevin Sheriff I believe was his name) looked a lot like my Great Grandpa Houskeeper! Oh how I miss Great Grandpa Dean Houskeeper! I don't remember much, but remember enough to have a memory of him, My Great Grandma Arlene Andersen Houskeeper I don't remember much of her, I was not quite six when she passed away... But I remember her being a very sweet Lady that was caring and adored by everybody around her! My Great Aunt Delene probably liked to talk just as much as she did! ;) Also during the whole funeral service, I saw a lot of Love in my family! Especially between my Grandma and Grandpa Bourne! Just that unspoken love and comfort you get when you're having a hard time! To my Grandma Aunt Delene was her younger sister, best friend, and to my Grandpa, Aunt Delene was his only sibling as well, because he was the only child growing up.

It was tough to lose her because her Death was truly unexpected... :( I truly miss her! I Love you Aunt Delene! I know you're in a better place, and I know I'll be able to see you again and see that Smiling face of yours and hear that sweet little Laugh! I will truly cherish all of those memories forever!! :D I Love you! And Give Great Grandma and Grandpa Houskeeper our Love as well! <3

I did have a Blonde moment though! haha! So My Aunt Delene's favorite Holiday is Christmas! And I noticed most of the guys wearing Christmas Ties. And throughout the whole Funeral Services I was trying to figure out why on earth they were wearing Christmas ties In March? I was about to go crazy! I Love Christmas too! But not that much to wear something Christmasy in the middle of the year! And then finally at the Luncheon, I was talking with my Grandpa Bourne and my Dad. And it finally Clicked! (*Note* we weren't talking about the Christmas Ties***) I Said "OH! That's why you were wearing Christmas Ties! It's Aunt Delene's Favorite Holiday." My Grandpa Looks at me and says with a serious look on his face almost smirking with laugher. "Wow, you are a blonde!" I answered "Yes I am!" Then he said... "But a beautiful Blonde." Thanks Grandpa! <3 It was a laugh I don't think I will forget! haha! That was a "Here's your sign." Moment! ;)

Life Changing and a hard Week.

R.I.P. Aunt Delene! My Great Aunt Delene passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 @ about 5:00 a.m. My Mom talks about it on her blog. So I won't repeat things for ya. But yeah, I am still catching up from sleep pretty much, I was at the hospital all night long waiting for her to fade from 6 in the evening till she passed away. It was a bonding moment with my mom, Aunt Celeste, Aunt Cindi, Cousin Jayson, and Marlei! :D It was fun with a lot of tears and laughs. What was the line I recall? Oh! "Tears with laugher is my favorite emotion!" -from Steel Magnolias. And It's so true! Let us have some laughter during the times of tears. ;)

Aunt Delene was a very Sweet and Caring Lady, She lived independently, and it was very sad to see her all tubed up and on Life support when she was in the hospital. We as a family decided to take her off life support because we didn't like her in this condition, she had major strokes, and congestive heart failure. If she would have happened to have come out of it, she would have gone to a Nursing home. So this way she's home with our Heavenly Father and my Great Grandparents! ;) The things that I will cherish most: My first memories at Disneyland! And My Viola! I don't want or even have the desire to stop playing! I want to keep on playing and keep going! I Love my Viola! She's my baby! And Aunt Delene helped my parents pay for it almost 6 years ago! :D And of course when Aunt Delene would mix words up, and laugh about it! As well as she would spill on her shirt! And her shirt would always be White, and she would spill Mustard on it or something else that would probably stain it! :P And us throwing inside jokes at her! haha! As well has playing Hand and foot, and she would always say "my hand is so bad." Or "My foot is so bad", and she would lay down with a couple red and black books and pretty much win the game and the round! haha! ;)

I know I just showed this picture in the last post, but this is my viola that Aunt Delene helped buy! It means so much to me! It's my most prized possession. If there were a fire right now, I would grab my viola and my Scriptures, then run out the door! LOVE YOU AUNT DELENE!! Miss you! <3
